Glossybox October 2015 | Unboxing

Glossybox is back!

and it is very exciting this month!!!

With unboxing off camera it alway leaves the first impression of the box quite flat and I guess unknown to you, the reader,  BUT with this months box I actually reacted like a little kid at Christmas and let me tell you that has never happened before!! I LOVE THIS BOX… this months box is with out a doubt my favourite box from my whole subscription and that really is saying something!

Let’s get up close and personal, here’s what’s in this months Glossybox:

Yet again, this month we received 5 full size products!

So Susan, Haute Light Highlighting Pencil, ( – £14.95)

“This peach-hued creamy crayon flatters everyone and can be used in numerous ways. Apply it along the inner rim of the eyes to make the white pop or blend over your brow bones or cheek bones to boost radiance.” Evie, Glossybox Editorial Director

At last! a product that I’ve always wanted to try, but I guess have never thought to buy, or at least I’ve never remembered to buy one when out shopping. I’ve seen a lot of beauty vloggers on YouTube using a product similar to this and I’ve always really liked the look it gives to your eyes, so I am really looking forward to trying this out.

Talika, Photo-Hydra Day, (

“This deeply hydrating moisturiser from luxury French brand Talika gives your skin just what its crying out for in autumn. The combination of soothing and nourishing ingredients alongside plumping hyaluronic acid will leave your complexion hydrated and perfectly primed all season long.” Charlotte, Glossybox Managing Director

If you live in the UK then you’ll definitely know that as we’ve hit Autumn the weather is definitely changing, not that it’s especially warm in any other season, but winter coats are now making an appearance and hot chocolate seems to be much more appealing than a cold milkshake, so actually I feel this product has came right on time.

I was actually quite shocked when I saw the price of this product, of course I was pleased because it’s always a nice feeling to know your getting your monies worth! but for £24.85 this clearly isn’t your average supermarket moisturiser and for that reason alone I am excited to use this product.

Jelly Pong Pong, Play Paint, ( – £8.95)

“The change in light at this time of the year can have a dulling effect on our complexions – but not to worry, as this little gem with save face. Dab a tiny amount (we’re talking the size of a grain of rice) on your lips and cheeks for an instant flush of healthy colour.” Heather, Glossybox Marketing Manager

One thing I’ve noticed is that October’s Glossybox is definitely themed with preparing and caring for our skins during the cold weather. As I am very pale skinned myself during Autumn and Winter my cheeks and lips can loose there colouring slightly, so hopefully this product will help me out!

Nicka K, Airbrush Blending Sponge, (

“Believe it or not, this little sponge is all you need to blend your way to a flawlessly fresh face. The dome shape cleverly reaches nooks around the nose and allows you to apply foundation (or any other liquid product) in a rolling motion, which creates a streak-free finish.”  Alice, Glossybox Beauty Editor

I have to admit, this product definitely caught my eye first, as last month I got the original beauty blender and now honestly think to myself; ‘how did I manage without it’! I use it everyday and just love it, it makes applying liquid concealer and foundation so much simpler and nicer. So, as you can imagine when I saw this in my box I was very excited at the thought of having another. This one is however slightly different to the original beauty blender, which could be a good thing or it could be a bad thing… but as I haven’t used it yet you’ll have to wait and see.

have you used this before, what do you think to it?

Lanolips, Lip Ointment With Colour SPF15 Rhubarb, ( – £7.99)

“With vitamin E, natural oils and lanolin, you can ward off chapped lips all season long with a slick of this pink-hue. What’s more, it contains SPF 15 to keep your lips protected from the (occasional) bout of autumnal sunshine.” Sara, Glossybox Creative Director

This is another product that I can’t wait to use, as my lips get very dry during the cold weather. From this they usually crack and bleed, which is very unpleasant! So this product sounds very good to me!

Also included – a £10 voucher for the (online) shop:

As I have said, I love this month’s Glossybox and I can’t wait to try all of my new goodies! Of course I will keep you posted on the products included, as I use them.
