Firstly, I want to say a massive thank you to both Boots (PR Team) and Seventeen cosmetics for getting in touch and sending me over so many lovely products!
Seventeen in my opinion is probably one of the most underrated affordable beauty brands out there, with delivering good quality make-up and beauty products. For instance has anyone tried their new ‘Endless Effects‘ nail polishes? I’ve just brought a pack and oh my they’re good! – but with not being here to talk about those today, here are the products in which I was sent..
All of the products as shown above would work beautifully together and could therefore be definitely worn altogether for many different styles of looks. If you keep on scrolling down you will see that I am going to talk more in depth about each of these products. Also included in this generous collection is the new ‘easy on the eye’ palette, which I am so excited to share with you today.
Seventeen | Define & Conquer Contour Kit – Boots.com – £5.99
This is probably my favourite product out of everything that I have been sent. It is nicely packaged with a good amount of product in each side. With this contour kit one side is pressed contour powder and on the other side there is an equal size of pressed highlighter powder. The highlighter powder has a matte finish, which overall is very subtle and natural looking when on your skin. I like this as for those days when you want a more natural, matte look you don’t want to be using a glittery/ glowing highlighter – which many are.
The contour powder is very similar to Benefit’s Hoola bronzer, with the exceptions being that this is of course by Seventeen and it is a contour powder and not a bronzer. I really like this contour powder for the reasons being that this can be used to either create a natural and more subtle look or alternatively this can be used for those days when you want more defined cheek bones.
For £5.99 I would definitely recommend this product!
Seventeen | Instant Glow Skin Wow Tan – Boots.com – £5.99
I have to be honest I’ve never used a product of this nature before, but have always wanted to give one a try. As you can see from the swatch picture above you can use this product in different ways. For example, you can build up the intensity of the tanned glow by adding slight layers at a time.
I really like this product, and actually found to be quite surprised after using it. As I expected it to sit quite heavy on the skin and really to appear quite patchy with it being a very dark tanned colour, but I instead found this to blend effortlessly on the skin, to which it appeared light and glowing.
Seventeen | Instant Glow Shimmer Brick – Boots.com – £4.99
This shimmer brick is sooo pretty!
As you can see from the swatch picture above I have broken down each individual colour within the brick to give you an idea of what is really included. So, as you can see there is a light pale pink, a duskier light pale pink, a shimmery gold and then a darker shimmery golden bronze. Together these colours combine to create a really beautiful shimmery pinky bronze, which personally I love!
Definitely a good one for the summer time too
Seventeen | Easy on the Eye Palette | Birthday Suit – Boots.com – £7.99
Included in this palette you get; 1 eye primer, 3 metallic creams, 8 matte, shimmer & pearl powders.
I have been loving this palette, plus for the price of £7.99 I would consider it a bargain! Out of the 8 powders I would say that their are 2 matte shades included in that with then of course the other 6 being a combination of shimmer and pearl. I have found the powdered eye shadows to be light, creamy and so easy to blend, plus there is an amazing combination of different colours that with just this palette alone you would be able to create so many different looks!
With this palette you also get a small duo ended brush to apply both the metallic eye creams and powdered eye shadows.
Seventeen | Lip Crayon – Boots.com –
To be honest with you I’ve never tried a lipstick from Seventeen cosmetics let alone a lip crayon! The shade of this may be a little to light for me, as I have quite naturally dark coloured lips, so this doesn’t really show to be the colour that it is on me. Never the less I will definitely be going out to purchase other shades, as this lip crayon is heavenly! It is so soft and smooth that oddly it is quite therapeutic to apply. It is also creamy and very moisturising in texture, which I love!
Thank you once again to both Boots and Seventeen cosmetics, I love my new products and have loved having the opportunity to share them on my blogs and therefore with my readers.
What are your favourite Seventeen cosmetics?

I’ve got the Define and Contour kit but I have no idea what I’m doing with it! It’s a great kit though, that said. The colours are fantastic!
Ah cool! Do you highlight and contour anyway? 🙂
I’ve tried, but I’m not too sure what I’m doing with it. I think I need a full face masterclass!
Aw haha, it takes some practise and to be honest a good brush! I will do a blog post tutorial (when I get round to it), to hopefully help you out. Otherwise there are some good tutorials on YouTube you could maybe try.
That would be a great help, thank you! I’m tempted to go to a make up counter and ask for a mini tutorial.
No worries, once I get round to it, I’ll let you know! 🙂 (You can subscribe to my blog to be the first to know of any new blog posts too!)
I really want to try more seventeen products as they sound great!
