Mmm.. Chocolate Lipsticks by TooFaced

The Too Faced melted lipsticks are quite new to me, as I purchased my first one just before Christmas in a small sample size set. After using and really loving my first one I was quite excited to see that Too Faced had brought out a new collection inspired by the scent and colouring of chocolate.

These I actually first saw on Instagram – by people who appeared to live in the US. Therefore I headed over to (as they ship internationally) and placed an order with the shades that I like the most – I believe this collection is currently not available in the UK, however just like me you can head over to and see if they ship to your country.

From using these melted lipsticks I can tell you that the application is really easy – as I find them to go onto the lips effortlessly, giving a smooth and even well pigmented colour. With these being a type of a liquid lipstick also of course they go on to the lips quite wet however they dry fairly quickly and become more matte in finish as they dry. Now with this collection being called Chocolate you expect it to just be reflected in the browny nude shades… but ‘oh no‘! how wrong you are mistaken, these actually are infused with the lovely scent of chocolate.

As you can see from the pictures above the first and third swatches are the metallic melted lipsticks and therefore the second and fourth have more of a matte finish.

Overall I really like the melted lipsticks by Too Faced, if I had to pick out one negative it would be that these don’t last all day and you do of course have to keep topping up your lip colour and going over your lipstick. I wouldn’t say that was a massive deal however, and certainly for me it wouldn’t be a reason for me to not use these.

Thank you for reading, I hope you have found today’s post useful! please don’t forget to leave me a comment below and check out the rest of my blog!

I love the sound of these and even though you do have to reapply I don’t mind that cause you have to do that with most products

Yeah I thought that too, I mean it can be a pain but with most lipsticks you have to reapply so it’s not really a big deal! 🙂

Love the look of Chocolate Honey! I was in Sephora in Barcelona in September and stood debating for ages on whether to pick some of these up, but didn’t because they sounded more like glosses. Thanks for a fab review xx

Chocolate Honey is one of my favourites out of them all! Oh really! I didn’t realise these were about until just recently, but I couldn’t resist lol! I guess the application is fairly similar to a gloss, but I’m not a huge fan of glosses so I guess that makes these different, because I love using these. Aw thank you for your lovely comment, happy new year! xx
