Dose of Colors | Baked highlighter – in the shade: Pearl Dust
When it comes to highlighters it’s fair to say Becca cosmetics have well and truly took the beauty world by storm, with myself seeing so many beauty vloggers and bloggers raving about how beautiful their products are BUT of course we’re not here today to discuss Becca cosmetics as instead I have a gorgeous baked highlighter by Dose of colors. I came across this highlighter whilst doing a tad of online shopping at Beautybay.com. When I first saw this it’s fair to say it was love at first sight, as I am sucker for any make-up product looking marbled and especially when it is pink! As I say I was planning to purchase a Becca highlighter, and perhaps still may do one day however to me this highlighter looked to be very interesting so instead I decided to give this a go.
To compare the sizing of this product I would describe it to be around the size of a MAC mineralize skin-finish or a ABH illuminator.
As you can see this product is incredibly pigmented!
To apply this onto the top of my cheekbones I use a Zoeva 105 brush, as I find with lightly dusting this brush over the baked powder it gathers around the right amount with of course having the choice to tap away the excess if you so wish. I really really like this highlighter as it also has a slight pink undertone to the shimmery silvery white shade, which personally I feel compliments a lighter skin tone very well. Now as I say this product is very pigmented, but with this highlight you can also if you so wish build up the intensity of your highlight with applying more and really building up that colour!
