As another month comes to an end it’s time to share with you all my favourite products from within the month of February…
MAC Lipstick in the shade: Brave
The satin finish lipstick ‘Brave’ by MAC is a shade that I have been wearing more or less everyday. With having a satin finish this lipstick goes on to the lips effortlessly, meaning a smooth and easy application. This shade, which I would describe as a dusky rose with a plum undertone is actually really easy to wear as personally I feel it compliments many looks and with that many different outfits.
Thomas Sabo Glam & Soul Ring
(Item No TR1762-051-11)
If you follow me on Instagram (@jellybluesblog) you would have seen this gorgeous ring on my profile already, but I fell in love with this around a month ago and my reasons for including this ring in my February favourites are simple, as I don’t usually wear a lot of jewellery, as I find it to be quite irritating after a long period of time but when I saw this ring on thomassabo.com I was in love! I have wanted a snake themed ring for a long time and this to me seemed perfect! As it is shaped like a snake wrapping itself around ones finger but then at the same time the shape has remained circular and together. Underneath (around mid-way) the ring turns straight to plain sterling silver which actually makes it a lot more comfortable to wear, especially when in warmer conditions and when your fingers begin to swell slightly.
Zoeva Luxe Highlight 105 Brush
With recently purchasing a new highlighter (which just so happens to also be one of my favourites) I decided that it was time to invest in a good highlighting brush and so I went for a Zoeva 105. This brush is incredibly soft and smooth to the touch of your skin. It collects and holds a powdered highlighter very well and when lightly brushing with this onto your skin you can be sure to achieve an even finish.
If there’s one thing with blogging and staying active online it’s making sure that your as organised and as up-to-date as possible. At around the beginning of February I came across this magnetic weekly panner in my local Sainsbury’s store. With using this throughout last month I have found it to be incredibly helpful and useful with staying organised and aware of what post titles I have going on around Jellybluesblog.co.uk.
Dose of Colors – Baked Highlighter
If you are a subscriber to my blog or keep up-to-date with new blogposts (posted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday!), you would have read my little review on this wonderful product already! However if you haven’t you can go and check that out here > Review.
This highlighter has had to make it’s way into my February favourites as it is a product that I have used A LOT! I love it. It is incredibly pigmented to which you only need a small amount of this on your brush and it finishes with a beautiful silver sheen and pink undertone.
Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette
Another product that I have been using a lot of is the Gwen Stefani palette by Urban Decay. The Gwen Stefani collection is seen to becoming very popular, with the blush palette taking the beauty world by storm! I have also reviewed this palette separately on my blog, which you can read here if you haven’t already, but I find this palette (much like all of the other eyeshadow palettes by Urban Decay) to be unbelievably pigmented. This collection of beautifully chosen shades compliment one another superbly and also go onto the eye easily with full colour and an excellent blend-ability.
..and those are my February favourites, what are yours?
