By the looks of things, magazine beauty mini’s are hugely popular! With that being especially the case if the freebie’s a new or popular branded product! A little while ago I wrote up my thoughts on the new Goof Proof Brow Pencil by Benefit – as one came in the July issue of Elle magazine (UK). Since discovering that product and seeing such positivity for that blogpost, I thought it’d be a good idea to share with you all another new beauty mini by Benefit, which I received as a free sample in the August issue of Marie Claire.
In the August issue of Marie Claire there is an exclusive mini of the Ready, Set, Brow! by Benefit. This product is described as a ’24hr, invisible shaping & setting gel for brows’ – which I would say is pretty bang on if I’m honest! When using this product I like to apply a brow powder beforehand, as I have very patchy & sparse brows so they need filling in for sure. I am a particular fan of the wand applicator, as the brush bristles are designed to all different lengths – making it very easy to apply the product and really brush it through the brows evenly with also ensuring that every brow hair is reached. It is also made out of plastic, so like many mascara wand applicators this is also flexible. I am also delighted with the fact that this product comes in the shade; ‘clear, as it drys invisible, so I don’t feel as restricted with how I apply it, which probably sounds a little silly but often with other brow gels that come in tinted shades I end up with gel dotted around my brows and it just looks awful and SO messy! In terms of finish, this brow gel sets like concrete!! which I know is either going to be something that you love or hate. I would definitely say that you have to put with on last, as your not going to get any other brow product through your brows after this has been applied. Overall.. I would have to say that I do like this product and if you like Benefit brow products usually then you need to get your hands on the August issue of the Marie Claire magazine!!!
What do you think to this product, have you tried it?
