Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box – April 2017

“This could well be my most favourite box that I’ve ever received from a (beauty box) subscription service”

Arriving just two days ago, I finally got to see the contents of April’s Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box –
and let me tell you, restricting myself from seeing the contents of each months box before it actually comes to my door is very difficult indeed. Luckily I know that if I typed it in Instagram, I’d instantly regret seeing the results afterwards, I guess because half the fun of a subscription box is the surprise.

April’s box is amazing!
And I know I’ve only been subscribed to Look Incredible for two months now but ‘oh my’ what an amazing two months its been. In this time I’ve received some really amazing products… including a nail polish that I absolutely adore and now a Tarte liquid lipstick that I know I’m going to love.

The total value of this months box is said to be worth £142 – which in opinion, is excellent value for money because this box costs £35 a month! Inside the box there’s five full size products, including a skincare product by the luxurious brand Perricone MD, a highlighter stick by Becca Cosmetics, a liquid eyeliner by Eyeko, a lip paint by Tarte and finally a body scrub by a brand that I can’t actually say I’ve heard off before; Spa Retreat Indulgence.

Inside the box.

Perricone MD Blue Plasma 59ml
RRP: £79

Perricone MD is a brand that I’ve definitely heard off before, as I’ve seen a couple of their products being mentioned by some of my favourite beauty influencers on YouTube.

This serum supposedly helps to eliminate dead skin cells, rebalance skin’s hydration and plump the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for smoother looking and softer skin, which in all makes you appear more luminous and youthful.

I haven’t actually given this product a try yet but after doing the appropriate and instructed patch test, I will definitely be giving this product a try myself.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner – Shade: Navy
RRP: £12

If you know me or have been reading my blog for a little while, then you would know that I’m not a liquid eyeliner wearer or expert in the slightest. Mainly because I really struggle to apply liquid eyeliner.

I really want to try this liquid eyeliner in particular – so hopefully I’ll be able to apply it right. As I’m loving the navy colour of this eyeliner and the shade of the actual applicator itself.

Tarte Tartiest Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint – Shade: Delish
RRP: £15

Moving onto the product that I’m most excited about…
as I literally screamed when I saw this sitting in my box!

Tarte is one of those brands that I just really adore..
it’s just ALSO one of those brands that’s practically invisible in the UK and definitely not easy to get holt of either.

In my makeup collection I actually have three shades of Tarte’s Tartiest Quick Dry Matte Lip Paints, and these lip paints just so happen to be some of my favourite liquid lipsticks to use. With the shade ‘Bestie’ being one that I’ve been asked about and complimented on a numerous of times already.

Thankfully, Look Incredible have sent me a lip paint shade which is also ‘right up my alley’,
as it’s a gorgeous deep brown sort of colour with a good hint of red, and I cannot wait to start wearing this shade.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Slimlight – Shade: Champagne Pop
RRP: £24

Perhaps I’m just late to the party here but since when did Champagne Pop come in this form?!?!

I was however pleasantly surprised when I saw this sitting in my box, mainly for the reason being that I love Becca as a brand and have a lot of confidence in what they create and deliver. I also have the Champagne Pop highlighter in powder form, and love using this highlighter particularly when I’m a little more tanned and bronzed.

SO in all, I can’t wait to give this cream based highlighter a try, as it’s also said to be great for applying on the inner corners of your eyes.

Swatches – Tarte Tartiest Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint: Delish • Eyeko Liquid Eyeliner: Navy • Becca Slimlight Highlighter: Champagne Pop

Spa Retreat Indulgence Smoothing Body Scrub
RRP: £12

Last but certainly not least is this body scrub by the brand Spa Retreat Indulgence.

It’s said to be formulated with the essential oils of Damask Rose and Rose Geranium, which ‘will leave your skin looking and feeling irresistible’. It also contains coconut oil, which helps to nourish skin and coconut shell granules, which of course help to exfoliate skin and take away all of those dead skin cells.

Overall, I am very impressed with this months Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box!

What do you think to this beauty box, would you be happy with it’s contents?
