#NEW Bobbi Brown All Over Glow (Review)

Ooo la la!! Check out that glow.

This is the new, limited-edition skin-illuminator by Bobbi Brown. Claiming to capture and reflect light for a naturally luminous, lit-from-within glow –
If you adore illuminators then I would honestly say that you need to check this one out!! Infused with squalane, which mimics skin’s natural moisture, this product supposedly smoothens the look of fine, dry lines and leaves skin soft to the touch without a tacky or greasy texture.

Before anything else comes into play, let’s just take a look at this product’s packaging…

With a luxurious, plastic exterior, I must tell you that I am a fan of these twist-up lids that many brands seem to now be using. The formula itself and the shade: Sole has a gorgeous gold pearl pink colouring, which brightens the complexion instantly, revealing an intense veil of luminosity. Having an almost glass-like skin appearance too, I literally like to slather one pump of this product over my entire face, concentrating on the high points of my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose and my cupids bow too.

The formulation of All Over Glow by Bobbi Brown is one that I would have to describe as a little oily, although I wouldn’t actually say that its oily texture is tacky or greasy. This product works perfectly underneath foundation in my opinion, although is an illuminator that I definitely would not use over the top of foundation or powder. I feel like over the top of foundation and powders the All Over Glow is likely to seperate and sit a little unusual on the skin. The thick, gel-like consistency of this product, however, blends effortlessly in my opinion. It is soft, it is incredibly smooth and just a very nice product to apply and use in my opinion!

The shade: Sole also sits lovely on the collarbone and on top of the shoulders too. Paired with a delicate Bardot top, I cannot wait to place this on my body and wear this in the sunlight, as I think it will look amazing.

Above all else though, the All Over Glow by Bobbi Brown gives the skin the most glossy highlight and an effortless veil of radiance. On a naturally dry and dull complexion like mine, I have quite honestly NEVER come across a more illuminating product that genuinely lasts throughout the entire day, than this one. It is revolutionary. Foundation sits well over the top of this and looks great. I would recommend anyone who has a naturally dry skin type to check this one out, although wouldn’t necessarily advice those with a more oily skin type to wear this quite so heavily.

Love, Jess
OXOXO

I’m loving this product – I find that it’s like a lip gloss for your face. It’s not super tacky but it does have a bit of tackyness to it and I love wearing it on the cheekbones as it gives that wet look BUT it’s way to easy to have it looking like sweat.

YES! If I apply any more than one pump I find that I can look a little sweaty as opposed to dewy and glowy!! I don’t really find it be tacky though, but then I can totally see what you mean because it does have that thick gel texture. Thanks for your comment lovely!!
