Buxom BIG TEASE Plumping Mascara (Review)

Look out! The ‘BIG tease’ Plumping Mascara by Buxom is out!

As I am a HUGE fan of Buxom’s ‘Big & Sexy’ Bold Gel Lipsticks already, you know that I HAD to make my way over to Debenhams as soon as possible to get my hands on this new mascara.

The NEW ‘BIG tease’ Plumping mascara is said to instantly plump the appearance of one’s natural lashes. Providing the combination of both volume and length, this product’s formula is also said to contain a unique blend of three waxes for a smoother and creamier application experience. Resulting with weightier, thicker looking lashes that are lifted and lengthened, I must say that I hope this mascara lives up to expectations.

True to its description, the ‘BIG tease’ Plumping mascara by Buxom has an excellent brush design! From effortlessly grasping and coating each lash precisely, I would have to say that this is a very comfortable mascara to use!

From a soft and fluttery lash that requires maybe 1-2 layers of product TO an intense, thicker style of lash that maybe needs around 4 layers, you must be aware that this mascara will appear quite thick and clumpy… Although, with the use of the ‘BIG tease’ Plumping mascara my lashes definitely appear richer, saturated, thicker and longer, which is very nice indeed.

The only one real fault to this product that I have personally found, however, is its somewhat crumbly, dry formula… Once dried down completely and worn on the lashes for at least 3 hours, the formula of this product tends to break down. Leaving crumbled mascara on the under-eye area, I must tell you that this is a little disappointing but also quite uncomfortable too.

Obviously, the somewhat dry crumbly formula is not ideal, although the appearance of this mascara isn’t bad at all.. it’s actually pretty nice if truth be told.

So do the positives outweigh the few negatives?! I’m not sure, let me know in the comments below what you think.

Love, Jess
