Is there anything more exciting than a large makeup haul? I think not. Especially one that is also budget-friendly.
A week or so ago I made a fairly large order over on the KIKO Milano UK website, as they also had a very generous ‘buy 2 get 2 free’ offer on at the time.
From KIKO I decided to pick up a few products that I have been lusting over for quite some time, as well as a few newbies that I must say, I have never seen before.
First up we have KIKO’s Face Make Up Fixer… and let me tell you the only reason as to why I purchased this spray AS it certainly wasn’t because I actually need it!
This product has an aerosol style continuous spray applicator –
JUST LIKE THAT MORPHE ONE THAT KATHLEEN LIGHTS LOVES.
The next product that caught my attention is the Smart Hydrating Foundation, mainly because YES it has the word ‘hydrating’ in its title.
The two little limited-edition products that I couldn’t help but resist and pick up are the KIKO Into The Dark Metallic Eyeshadow, in the shade: 02 because this is a purple toned eyeshadow and you know that I am all about that purple life. As well as the Candy Split Eye Pencil, in the shade: 02 because YES this is purple too!!
From the Water Eyeshadow collection, I decided to continue my theme of buying all the purply mauvy toned eyeshadows by purchasing the shades: 201, 202 and finally 204. The Water Eyeshadows by KIKO are each described to apply beautifully with a wet or dampened brush, so this is exactly what I am going to try out!
With being totally obsessed with anything sparkly or glittery, you know that I had to pick up a couple of the Glitter Shower eyeshadows by KIKO whilst making my order. Since I do already have quite a few different glitters in my collection, however, I decided to go for the two shades that are 02 and 03.
02 is a shade that I could only really describe as a bronzy gold, whilst 03 is a gorgeous deep-toned purple with silver reflects.
Since the whole cushion/ cream product faze is totally active at the moment, I really wanted to pick up KIKO’s Liquid Blush Cushion System.
For the discounted price of £7.90 too, I am really happy that I managed to get my hands on this product, as there aren’t many drugstore versions of a cushion blush around.
Last but certainly not least I have an array of KIKO’s Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows to try!!! In fact, I have eight in total.
Claiming to give 8-hours wears with a non-transfer formula, I honestly cannot wait to try each and every one of these eyeshadows out.
The shades that I managed to pick up are:
01 – Pearly White
16 – Purple
25 – Light Taupe
28 – Bright Ivory
36 – Golden Mauve
37 – Burgundy
38 – Golden Taupe
and finally 42 – Lavender.
That is EVERYTHING that I managed to pick up on the KIKO UK website, as well as being products that were included in that special ‘buy 2 get 2 free’ offer that was on at the time. Of course, I will keep you posted on my thoughts on these products. So be sure to head over to my Instagram – @Jellybluesblog and keep an eye out for those Instagram stories!
