We’ve all heard of the NEW limited-edition Amrezy Highlighter by Anastasia Beverly Hills, haven’t we?!
This is the illuminating powder that claims to achieve ‘the perfect glow’. With the feel of second-skin, it’s supposedly ultra-smooth formula is said to deliver a radiant finish that reflects a light brilliant gold.
Since first discovering the new Amrezy Highlighter online, I must tell you that I was never going to purchase this for myself.
I believed the shade in-particular to be far too gold-toned for my fair skin and because of this decided against ever getting my hands on one. Since speaking to my bestie, however, about this product I gave into temptation – basically because she told me that it is the BEST highlighter that she has EVER used…
As far as first impressions go, I would have to say that I can totally see why every beauty enthusiast is expressing their love for the packaging of this product… because it is magical.
With the mirrored-gold exterior, high-shine black front (complete with delicate gold stars), I must say that this highlighter definitely stands out for it’s somewhat sophisticated yet definitely still fun appearance.
Inside, reveals the generously-sized rectangular pan of the illuminating powder. With a pressed almost wave design embossed into the top layers of the powder itself, I must say that I am very impressed by the amount of product that one ACTUALLY gets!
Before anything else comes into play, I must say that the Amrezy Highlighter by Anastasia Beverly Hills looks absolutely stunning.
With a beautiful crisp champagne gold-tone, this highlighter does, in fact, suit many different skin tones. Revealing a shimmering glow to the complexion, however, I must also say that this highlighter is far from natural in my personal opinion.
Appearing beautiful on the body too, you should definitely try dusting this highlighter over your collarbone and on top of your shoulders if you haven’t already! It has a beautiful consistency and with that finish, which just sits so lovely on the skin. I, personally LOVE the look of this highlighter over tanned-skin and because of this ALWAYS reach for this product in-particular whenever the sun is shining and my skin is freshly tanned.
If I was to comment on one slight negative though, then I would have to say that ‘throughout wear’ the appearance of this highlighter is somewhat non-existent. So, if you like the look of a constant highlighted glow, then you should definitely pop this in your handbag before leaving the house, just to ensure that you can keep your highlighter ‘topped up’!
