This post is in collaboration with Latest in beauty.
If you are a sucker for subscription boxes but often don't like the surprise of receiving a mysterious box of goodies, then you may want to find out more about what Latest in beauty has to offer!
Latest in beauty allows you to choose either 3, 6 or 9 products from their entire "explore" page, which then allows you to create your very own custom beauty box.
A few weeks ago, Latest in beauty very kindly got in touch and allowed me to choose 9 products to create my very own custom beauty box with! The Beauty Guru box is £18 per month or £25 for a one-off box. To be honest with you, I don't think this price is too bad, although you do have to carefully select and really look into each product to make sure that you are getting the best deal for you!
From their product selection page or "explore" page as it is also known, I chose nine products that intrigued me the most. One thing that is definitely worth noting, however, is that Latest in beauty are constantly updating their "explore" page, and adding new products all of the time! So no month technically has to be exactly the same.
The products I selected:
First up, I HAD to add the dr.organic Bioactive Skincare Moroccan Glow Self Tan Mousse in Medium to my basket. I have used this self-tanning mousse before and I really like how this product works for me. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin - it isn't too sticky and most importantly, this self-tan actually looks pretty good in my opinion. The colour isn't too fake and the scent isn't too bad either.
(Full-size product - 150ml RRP: £14.99)
bea Skin Care - Essential Range - Hydrating Treatment Eye Mask for minimising dark circles.
How great would this little pack be for taking on the plane? I always love wacking on a pair of under-eye gel masks when my under-eyes are feeling a little tired and looking a little sorry for themselves.
(1 pair x full-size product)
Purity made simple 3-in-1 cleanser for face and eyes.
How cute is this little product? I always enjoy trying out a new cleanser when taking off my makeup!!
Sudocrem Skin Care Cream
Who doesn't use Sudocrem on their breakouts? I always have and I dare say, I always will.
(Full-size product - 30g RRP: £1.70)
James Read Gradual Tan H2O Tan Mist
Latest in beauty have some great tanning products available at the moment! I couldn't quite believe my luck when I spotted this product on their "explore" page, as I have been wanting to try this product for absolutely ages, and now I thankfully can. So thank you Latest in beauty you have made this girl very happy!
Morgan Taylor Nail Lacquer - Ella of a girl
How pretty is this colour?! Yes, I go and get my nails done at the nail salon but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy switching up the colour and painting my nails at home too.
(Full-size product - 15ml RRP: £10.99)
Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion
A slightly odd product perhaps? I don't usually choose body lotions or body creams to be fair unless they are recommended to me. I have very sensitive skin, so I do have to be careful with the ingredients and what products I use.
These, however, really intrigued me.
Latest in beauty states that this body lotion will moisturise and rehydrate the skin, helping to form a 'fine protective barrier on the skin whilst in regenerates'? This body lotion has been shown to reduce the negative effects of UV Radiation whilst also replenishing skin and giving it a lovely healthy sheen, it is fair to say that I am looking forward to seeing how this product works for me!
(2 x 20ml)
Last but certainly not least, I HAD to add the Regenerate Toothpaste to my basket. My dentist actually very kindly gave me a few samples of this toothpaste before it officially came to market - just because he knows that I enjoy testing out different products so much!
As toothpaste goes this HAS to be one of my favourites because it has such a lightweight consistency that isn't gloopy in any way - I just really enjoy cleaning my teeth with this toothpaste.
(3 x 14ml)
