Guerlain Météorites Base

Guerlain Météorites Base (30ml)
Guerlain is a brand which I can’t say I’ve tried before but I mean COME ON their design and packaging department needs a HUGE pat on the back; the appearance of this product is absolutely stunning.

When taking off the very luxurious lid a petite pump is revealed, this I actually prefer as it means I have more control over how much product I use, which also means there is very little waste. Going on to the application of this product; one pump is on average the amount I need and use to cover and prime my entire face, I however don’t like to put lots on my face so perhaps 1-2 pumps would be more appropriate to say for how much of this product you would use. Now of course this base is designed to skin-perfect and correct dullness within the skin ready for the application of make-up, it is therefore suppose to conceal blemishes, re-plump the complexion and help to achieve a long-lasting matt finish. After applying this onto my face I found it to actually make me appear slightly like a Twilight vampire standing in the sunlight – which of course means that this gives you a very light sparkly appearance – however it makes me very happy to say that this does indeed make a difference! I found that each day with using this it creates a silky base ready for my foundation to go onto, with that it also makes the application of my foundation a lot smoother and just overall makes it appear a lot less patchy. In terms of anti-dullness I would say that this product lifts the skin and does make it appear more awake, dewier and ready for the day ahead.

Look at that pinky, pearly gel goodness!

Have you tried any Guerlain products before?

Thank you!

  1. I was eyeing this when in duty free a few weeks ago and thought it was beautiful – there was no prices though and no one around to ask questions with though. Hope to pick it up next time I fly now!
