NEW TooFaced White Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette (Review)

This is the relatively NEW White Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette by none other than TooFaced Cosmetics.

The TooFaced Cosmetics White Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette holds sixteen delightful cocoa-infused shadows – including both shimmery and matte finishes! It is infused with 100% real cocoa powder, which again, gives this palette that ‘classic’ TooFaced chocolate scent and aroma!

The shade range mixes from the gorgeously subtle, sugared pastel colours to then a few creamy nudes and finally a surprising pop of a sparkly, sugared black!

In all, I must say that I am very excited to test this palette out and with that create a few different eye looks with it, as the shadows promise to be richly pigmented, and give a great colour pay off, which is also true to the colour in the pan! The eyeshadows themselves are said to have a silky smooth formula, which is not only easy to blend but also effortless to apply.

The Packaging

How could I not just take a quick moment to mention and with that appreciate the gorgeous packaging of this palette!
Like every single TooFaced product that seems to exist, the packaging of this palette is exquisite in my opinion! It is clean, it is contemporary yet incredibly cute and special.

There is a large, clear mirror just inside the lid, allowing this palette to either be used in the comfort of ones home or, in fact, on the go! Whilst the pan size of each shadow is generously sized and just really easy to work with overall.

If you hadn’t of guessed it already, I am in love with the packaging of this product – and just love how it appears with the rest of my TooFaced eyeshadow palettes that I indeed already own.

My Thoughts

In my opinion, I would have to say that I do indeed like the White Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette by TooFaced Cosmetics – although, I couldn’t say that it is one of my most favourite products to use.

The shade range is a little too plain and I guess cool-toned for my own liking, which isn’t, of course, this palettes fault just simply mine for purchasing it in the first place.

The shadows themselves are very similar – if not identical – in terms of their formula to any other TooFaced eyeshadow!

As they each have a very workable, smooth formula, which is some what easy to blend but just a little-too dry and dusty for its own good I think. You do get kick-up in the pan itself when using and working with these eyeshadows, as well as fall-out, which isn’t always the best of things, especially when applying either darker shades or ones with shimmer and glittery finishes.

If I am being entirely honest with you, I would also have to say that the pigmentation of these shadows is just a little disappointing overall in my opinion. As they’re just not as rich and well pigmented, as I guess I expected them to be. You do have to build up the colour for more intensity, which is a little disappointing with the more shimmery shades especially, as I definitely prefer a quite rich, and intense shimmer if I am indeed going to wear one. Overall though, I could only say that I do like this palette, and do like to use it every now and then. Would I repurchase it? Perhaps not but then the cool-toned shadows aren’t always for me.

I notice that around nine of the shades in this palette are included in the Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette!
