The Iconic London Day to Slay Eyeshadow Palette is made up of 20 shades. From matte finishes to shimmers, there is a small array of glitters in this palette too!
With a supposedly ‘highly pigmented’ formulation that is crease-proof, buildable and blendable, I must tell you that I have high hopes for this product! It is 100% cruelty-free, which is great news for us animal lovers AND even comes with a large, square mirror on the inside of the lid as well. I can’t say that I have ever worn or tried an Iconic London eye product in the past, although I am definitely looking forward to experimenting with this palette and hopefully creating many beautiful eye looks with it too.
So what I can I tell you about this product?
Other than the fact that it has a very chunky, solid and structured packaging design.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the appearance of this product, although, I must say that the packaging is a little on the impractical side, as you certainly wouldn’t be able to take this on your travels with you, as it has a slight bit of weight to it too.

The shadows themselves are very impressive. The matte shades are pigmented. The shimmers coat the lids beautifully and the glitters can be applied both wet and dry. This versatile palette can truly transform your eye makeup from day to evening in my opinion very easily. I am a fan.
As far as the formulation is concerned, I would have to tell you that I really like the velvety, almost butter consistency of these shadows. They are soft but not crumbly and they sweep over the eye area really nicely in my opinion. You can build these shadows for an extra intensity OR happily blend one colour out very easily for a soft and subtle style of look!
What I admire more than anything, however, is the fact that these shadows do not fall out and ruin your base makeup! They kickup in the pan mind, although one of my biggest pet peeves is when you apply and set your foundation in place to then have it ruined by a crumbly and dry eyeshadow falling out and landing all over the under eye area! With the Day to Slay Eyeshadow Palette by Iconic London, however, you do not have to worry about this impractical factor!
Overall, I must tell you that I am really enjoying using this palette on a daily basis. You can create soft and light summery eye looks to a more dramatic shimmery, smoky and glittery eye! I love this palettes versatility!
Fancy getting your hands on this palette?!
