Who remembers when Maybelline announced the Tattoo Brow Easy Peel Off Tint and beauty addicts E V E R Y W H E R E lost their minds!? Well, since the overwhelming success of that now, drugstore favourite, it gives me great pleasure to say that Maybelline has recently brought out the Tattoo Brow POMADE!
The Maybelline Tattoo Brow Pomade comes in four different shades; Taupe, Medium Brown, Ash Brown, and finally Dark Brown.
Not only is this affordable - drugstore-friendly product packaged in a very generously-sized yet luxurious glass pot but it also comes with a very GOOD duo-ended makeup brush too. Usually, I can't say that included makeup brushes excite me in the slightest, although this one is "a good'un" in my opinion!
Since finding this product in Boots over two weeks ago, it is fair to say that my love for brow pomades has "literally" been rekindled! For some reason I hadn't used a brow pomade in months before finding this one, although now, I am very happily using one each and everytime that I choose to wear makeup.
This is the perfect alternative to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in my opinion. In fact, this one could even be better!?
The Maybelline Tattoo Brow Pomade has a very rich formula that is strongly pigmented yet a product that just seems to apply and go over the brow area like a dream. Don't get me wrong, you could definitely end up with clown-like brows if you are not careful. Although, you can very easily and very effectively create a very soft, structured (almost Instagrammable) brow with this product too! In all fairness, brow pomades are one of those products that take a little bit of getting used to anyway in my opinion.
With a duo-ended brow brush in hand, I can very happily create a GOOD brow in as little as just a few minutes! The formula of this product is smooth, very creamy yet incredibly rich! So a little does go a long way. One other thing that I really like about this product, in particular, is that you can mistakes with it, although you can just as easily clean any mistakes up too. The formula and pigmentation of this product is rich yet workable and certainly buildable as well (thank goodness).
