I did it! I purchased the Milk Makeup Kush Mascara from Cult Beauty. I have seen a lot of people rave about this mascara online, with many saying that this mascara delivers great volume and length to natural lashes with a unique vegan formula. I am, however, going to put all of the Milk Makeup claims to the test!
The Milk Makeup Kush Mascara is the first EVER mascara to contain hemp-derived cannabis oil! The vegan formula is said to deliver high volume whilst the cannabis oil is said to condition each lash hair. Also included in this mascara's formula are tiny (hollow heart-shaped) fibres which supposedly cling to each lash hair delivering a fluttery, long-lasting volume.
What can I say? As first impressions go, I really like this mascara! The packaging is solid and heavy but not travel-friendly. The formula is quite thick but very gel-like in my opinion! This mascara has quite a tacky consistency, although it is not one that I would necessarily say is sticky.
You can layer the rich, saturated black formula of this mascara up and really build the intensity and volume of your lashes. The formula is not one that I would say is crumbly or clumpy, although the more layers of mascara that you apply will affect the overall texture of your lashes. I have also noticed that the longer you wear this mascara throughout the day, the more it will begin to break down and become just a little bit uncomfortable to wear.
Overall, I must say that this is a really nice mascara in my opinion and in general I really like how this product performs. My lashes always look much fuller and thicker in appearance whilst the overall length of my lashes is nicely accentuated as well. I would repurchase the Milk Makeup Kush Mascara in the future, although the slightly gloopier formula could be improved in my opinion.
