From the aesthetically chic style of packaging to the beautiful shades of product, there is no denying how wonderfully glorious this “perfectly compact” face palette is.
The Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in 002 Glitz is the most recent palette to hit the Dior Backstage line. Featuring four pressed powders in total, you can find two glitter strobe powders in this palette, as well as a peach highlighter and a shimmery bronze shade as well.
For those of you who don’t know, I am a huge fan of the original Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette 001. The two (lightest) highlight shades from that palette are phenomenal in my opinion and two of the best highlighters on the market in my opinion as well.
The powders themselves have a silky smooth formulation. They are pigmented and vibrant but also easy powders to both apply and blend. They do not add or emphasise texture on the skin, although the two glitter strobe powders are a little on the chunkier side, which is something that you may want to bare in mind. I find each powder applies lightly onto the skin – so much so, that these are very comfortable powders to wear in my opinion. You can layer and build the intensity of your highlight, although the more layers you wear, the less natural and light your finished style of makeup look will appear.
Highlight and glow face powders aside, I must say that this is a versatile palette in my opinion and one that you should consider using in many different ways.
Whilst these will, OF COURSE, always appear beautiful on the skin, you can place these on the eyes and use these powders as eyeshadows as well. Just imagine the glorious bronze shade all over the lid with an intense pop of one of those glitter strobe powders as an inner corner highlight… I mean, just WOW!! I need to give that a try myself.
The Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette is a wonderful product in my opinion and one that I love owning and having in my makeup collection.
